Now I don't have video proof of this, but I was watching a friends channel on JTV and they had 2 tanks for the finale at one time. So I asked him how its done and he explained....

First there needs to be a saferoom tank(a tank that spawns right after you leave the saferoom) on any finale. THen its simple, just get the first tank, and throw rocks or something, just don't get killed. if you wait long enough a horde will come and then another tank, and you can attack them with 2 tanks at once, or have a tank fight. Either way its awesome. Don't beleive me? Try it out, but remember YOU NEED TO HAVE A SAFEROOM TANK IN THE FINALE.

One time I fought four tanks solo in L4D1 with only the Axe.

I'm pretty sure we did it on Dead Air too, although I'm certain we did one on Blood Harvest.

i lol'd

But seriously though. How was I implying that? I was pretend "out-posting" your story. With a cooler more badass story.

Like that time I killed a witch on expert realism with one pistol.

well, for one thing, it implies that my story is untrue by you one-upping it with a clearly bs story. Its like a fish story, one guy says he caught a 20 lber and the next guy says something clearly not possible, like say 10000000 lbs, in a sarcastic tone. Thats basicly calling bs. The game, you just lost it.  And another thing, its harder to tell if somebody is being sarcastic over the internet if all you have to go on is text. So i wasn't really sure if you were just joking or implying i was lying. Hence the "this is not a lie, if thats what you're implying  with that bs statement" Or whatever I said. I hope this cleared things up. Cheesy

With L4D1, if you ever had an early tank spawn at the last chapter, before they call the rescue vehicle, it is possible (though very difficult) to keep that first tank alive until the next tank comes during the finale event.  We would do this every once in a blue moon whenever we had 4x4 within LX3 and we'd agree not to attack the first tank.  It happened more often in Dead Air, but you know how sometimes there is a tank spawn before the finale event in the last chapter every once in a while.
For L4D2, I've had two tanks spawn at the same time at the finale for Swamp Fever quite often, but it's also happened at Dead Center if the survivor team wastes enough time without getting killed.

I did this in dead air. It is really hard to do, and two tanks really suck to fight on expert.

I did not do this because I would raeg so hard at my ineptitude to fight two tanks.

me, belth and frost just got two tanks at the same time against us in the dark carnival finale.  We knew there would be an instant tank, so we rushed by him and started the finale.  We paid for it, but it was worth it.
